Proper preparation is key to a long-lasting floor. For both the flake and epoxy floors we begin by grinding the existing concrete to create a clean, properly profiled surface. Saw cuts, cracks, and other imperfections are repaired before the coating system is applied. We then apply a vapor barrier and colored base coat for both. For our flake floors, decorative flakes are broadcast throughout the floor, scraped and vacuumed smooth. Epoxy floors begin with the same preparation, vapor barrier and base coat of color, then we add a metallic coat. Both are finish with two protective seal coats. The result is a durable, seamless floor with a professional finish that is easy to maintain.
